Intellectual Property Enforcement
The firm has extensive experience in the enforcement of intellectual property rights and is available to serve as co-counsel in litigation matters. Members of the firm have actively participated in patent and trademark infringement actions in federal district court, Section 337 investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), and an arbitration proceeding before the International Chamber of Commerce. Members of the firm also have handled successful appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC). The firm also counsels clients concerning enforcement options.
The firm is also available to co-counsel in matters before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the USPTO. Since the inception of the PTAB in 2011, members of the firm have worked on cases for both patent owners and petitioners. We also have experience coordinating with other litigation firms on claim construction and argument formulation in concurrent PTAB and district court cases.
The firm's goal is to help formulate an enforcement or defense strategy that best suits the client's business objectives and, whenever possible, avoids the need for expensive and time-consuming litigation.
